Our main rabbit barn is a completely enclosed 12 x 24 lofted style mini barn which features double doors on the front and two large windows on each long wall for cross ventalation. The is also a ridge vent running the entire length of the 24' roof. It houses approximately 100 holes. It is complete with a custom grooming and storage station, evaporative cooler, electricity and running water.

After several trials and attempts with different wall coverings including disposable plastic sheeting we decided to use FRP panel which is costly but quite durable. Even with urine guards on each cage our rabbits still manage to make a mess on the walls. We are in the current process of installing the final FRP panels and linoleum flooring which will complete our project.

Upon the arrival of our new rabbit barn I did not realize how much actual work there would be to prepare it to be "rabbit ready". It has been quite a daunting task. Marc did most of the work inside; installing electricity, insulation and dry wall; I am so lucky he is handy and knows how to do these things.

We quickly found a need to order leg kits and cage casters from Bass Equipment; which makes moving and cleaning an easier task for me. I absolutely love the peace of mind I have with this barn. It keeps the rabbits safe and protected from the elements and is pleasing to the eye. Almost nine months later we have only a few more items to tackle and the barn will be finished!
